Polish for Kids: From Silent to Speaking
Some kids arrive having never spoken a word of Polish out loud. Others have grown up hearing it at home without ever needing to use it themselves. Either way, this is a true starting point — no assumptions about what they already know.
This 10-week live cohort builds comfort before accuracy. The same opening and closing ritual runs every week, giving your child a sense of safety and helping them "switch into Polish mode" — while new vocabulary comes through pictures, objects, and movement, never translation lists. Rather than memorizing rules, your child builds a working vocabulary one theme at a time, until speaking Polish stops feeling like a lesson and starts feeling like something they can just do.
Each 50-minute lesson is taught live by a teacher, in a small group, so your child gets direct feedback and real practice — not screen time with an app. Every session follows the same shape: a greeting ritual, a quick recall game, new vocabulary through pictures and movement, a song, and a short reading/writing activity — tracing and matching at this age, never spelling tests. The course ends with a small showcase where your child performs what they've learned for family, and a certificate to mark the milestone.

Lesson Structure
A consistent ritual matters a lot at this age — it gives kids a sense of safety and helps them "switch into Polish mode." Typical 50-minute lesson shape:
- 5 min: warm-up (greeting, quick review game, "Polish word of the day")
- 15 min: grammar/vocab focus, taught communicatively, not through drills
- 15 min: guided practice — pair/small group speaking via breakout-style turn-taking, or a game
- 10 min: reading or listening activity tied to the theme
- 5 min: wrap-up + intro of voluntary homework
