Polish for Kids: Speak Without the Struggle
Most heritage kids this age already understand a lot of Polish and can chat comfortably at home — but grammar patterns like case endings, verb aspect, and gender agreement often come out a little differently each time. That's completely normal at this stage; it's exactly what this course is built to firm up.
Ten weeks grow your child's Polish beyond the home — into school, feelings, opinions, and storytelling — while solidifying the grammar patterns that tend to wobble. Reading moves from single words into short authentic texts, writing grows into a few connected sentences instead of just labels, and listening builds up with native-paced audio and video. Culture threads through every week — holidays, folk tales, music, geography — to keep the motivation up alongside the grammar.
Each 50-minute lesson opens with a warm-up and quick review game, moves into new grammar and vocabulary taught communicatively rather than through drills, then into paired or small-group speaking practice, a reading or listening activity, and a short wrap-up. The course ends with a mini talent show — each child shares something they've prepared in Polish, a poem, a song line, a short talk — plus a certificate to mark the milestone.
• Target Age Group: Ages 6–10 (Other age groups available)
• Skill Level: Advanced Confident conversational Polish already in place; refining fluency, accuracy, and vocabulary)
